I am able to use my smart phone. And I mostly just have half my screen on a character sheet and the other half the rulebook when I am making characters. And to print it off would cost quite a bit of money in ink even if its just black and white. Probably better to invest in a communal tablet to pass around the table and use that if you play a lot of games with digital pdfs.

I'd personally invest in a tablet myself depending on the price per page of printing, not because we change rapidly but because if you have to wait AND pay to print it over and over, it could add up. A tablet also serves other uses outside of DDA (and if you have simple internet access you can purchase on on Amazon for very little, I'd suggest finding a cheap one with a larger screen.).

Normally when I game, my group just keeps our laptops on the table or TV trays next to us with what we need open.

For anyone who is interested, I had the V1.11 rules professionally printed and bound into a complete document. You can see the pictures here. I took photos off my tablet's lousy camera, but it should give you an idea of what it looks like. It came out really well! Before I continue, I just wanted to say that this document is for private use only, is printed "as-is" with no modifications or changes and I also have absolutely no intention to sell or in any way profit from it. I mainly printed it for three reasons. Firstly, and most obviously I wanted a table copy of the rules that the players can thumb through. It's not just convenient but it's a great feeling to have a physical copy at the table or on your shelf. Secondly, I wanted to try out some printing services, not just for this game but for other documents in the future and this was a fun test run. Thirdly, and most importantly, I wanted TM93, as well as everyone who helped with the game in any way, to see the fruits of their labours. You've put in a lot of effort and I'm very grateful. I hope you enjoy seeing your work in physical form! For those who are interested in how this was made, I had it custom printed by an Australian store named Officeworks via online order. All up, the printing included: - 38 double sided, 200GSM, black and white printed pages (200GSM is twice the thickness of regular paper, making it a little more durable)
- 2 faux leather covers
- 1 coil binding
And in total cost me $23.85 AUD (Just under $18 USD), including delivery. Personally, I'm really happy with how it turned out and was happy with the price. If the rules are updated again I'll probably get another one done up.
I hope that this was of some help to people. Obviously you don't need to go to the lengths I did for a physical copy. Printing it out and putting a few staples through it would be just as good.
If you have any questions, let me know. I look forward to using the book in my games. Thanks again, TM93!

I feel so happy right now, mostly because the margins are right where I wanted them. I'd also like to try to make a physical copy once the work is all said and done (honestly I can't think of many "additions" I'd like to add to the system, just balance and re-balance, but well that's what I said about V.9 too!).

This is actually really cool, but I'd lean more with TM and print one out when it is done. I do agree with having a physical rule book, and since this one is so small its pretty easy to flip through. It looks really nice printed out. I also can't remember, but I think V.9 was about the version I found this place and started suggesting additions to ruin TM's life. That does remind me I should get back to reading 1.1. Tomorrow!
(I almost forgot about this when I finally had some free time. It is really cool though for real.)
