Codec Continent:This continent is the busiest and most urbanized region of the Digiworld, thanks to King Etemon’s, revolutionary Dark Network. Largely populated by Virus digimon, the distorted and ever-changing landscape is bewildering for newcomers. Etemon goes on tour whenever the mood strikes him, and concert attendance is mandatory when he comes to town. Locomon railways connect the major cities, making this the easiest part of the Digital World travel. Etemon has steadfastly refused to have any part of the war, and will not tolerate Attribute-based conflict within his kingdom. A universal ban on such hostilities is one of the most strictly enforced laws in Codec. The kingdom receives a steady influx of immigrants fleeing the war. Notable NPCs:
Etemon: Egotistical and flighty, the king of Codec has an overwhelming presence. However, his bouts of whimsy and theatrical demeanor hide a brilliant mind with nigh-unparalleled understanding of the Digital World’s code. Despite his mandatory concert attendance policy and general eccentricity, King Etemon is a surprisingly popular ruler. He is a lenient king, keeps the war out of Codec’s borders, and his Dark Network and railway project have greatly improved quality of life for the entire continent. It is very rare that a situation calls for King Etemon’s direct intervention, but he is rumored to be one of the most powerful warriors in the entire Digital World. GM Info
{Spoiler}{Spoiler} {GM Info}- The King has a passion for performance of all kinds. Assuming the players aren’t currently at odds with Etemon, a TN 19 Performance check will impress him enough to earn his respect and interest, at least for the moment.
- For all his bluster, Etemon is actually an excellent singer. He mostly performs classic rock, but is quite versatile.
- Etemon is a programming expert, but relies on Monzaemon for hardware and engineering.
- Long ago, Etemon was a BlackToyAgumon.
Other Information:
Dark Network: (Upcoming) Locomon Railway: While railroads have been around in small numbers as long as anyone can remember, it was through the efforts of Etemon and Monzaemon that the Locomon Railway has been expanded throughout Codec. Adventure Hooks: -When the group arrives to a city in Codec, the community is preparing for King Etemon’s upcoming concert. Attendance is mandatory. -King Etemon is holding a talent competition. Performances of all kinds are welcome.
Frequency Town:A bustling town built around a Spawn Point, with an emphasis on vocational training for young digimon. If threatened, the locals will defend Frequency Town with exceptional ferocity. Locations:
Frequency Station: Filled with young digimon setting out to find work and make their way in the world. Spawn Point: A perpetually overworked CatchMamemon oversees the Spawn Point and tends to the newly hatched digimon. He is desperate for an assistant. Monitor City: A flashy and extravagant city known for its entertainment industry. Neon signs line the street, advertising casinos, karaoke bars, and restaurants. The King himself calls Monitor City home, though he is often away on tour. Locations: Lucky 573: Squeezed between many similar establishments is a small, run-down pachinko parlor. Its sign reads “Lucky 573” in flickering neon Digicode, accompanied by an amateurish drawing of a waving Mamemon. Standing by the entrance is a Numemon, the manager, with a cigarette clenched between his teeth. Unusual for his kind, the mollusk digimon has a pencil moustache, an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt, and a pair of round glasses somehow sitting on his eyestalks. Inside the noisy, flashing building, a lone Chuumon slumps before one of the machines. The defeat in his eyes is not of one who has lost his money, but of one who has lost all hope.
Journey to the South: A gentlemon’s club run by Gokuwumon. Circuits Circuits: A classy establishment catering to Metal Empire digimon (or just those with an appreciation for the machine form). The Bare Chassis is its cheap and skeevy counterpart at the other end of town. Manifold Arena: A gladiator arena composed of impossible geometry with a blatant disregard for the laws of physics. Navigating the dizzying terrain is half the challenge, but experienced competitors use it to their advantage. Should a warrior demonstrate exceptional ability, the king himself may step into the ring. Monitor Station: One of the busiest train stations in Codec. The walls are plastered with colorful posters advertising hotels and entertainment. Even through the roar of the crowd, one can hear the constant chime of slot machines, as even the train station doubles as a casino. Adventure Hooks: -The group needs an item/information/aid from an NPC notorious for their gambling addiction. The PCs must search various casinos to find them.
Stereo Desert:A vast, desolate plain that seems lifeless at first glance, but beneath the surface lie rich veins of Huanglong Ore. A subterranean mining town flourishes here, supplying the prized metal to every corner of Codec Continent and beyond. The surface of Stereo Desert is not completely uninhabited, however. Those willing to brave the arid climate and scorching heat can lead a quieter life here than they would in the cities or the mine below.
Notable NPCs:
Giromon: Chief of Security at the Stereo Station. Despite what his toothy grin suggests, Giromon is a dour, no-nonsense digimon. He takes his job very seriously, and will defend Stereo Station and its valuable cargo at all costs. LoaderLiomon: Head of the Stereo Mine. After fighting off the occasional attempt to take control of the mine, he is distrustful of newcomers. Locations:
Stereo Mine: (Upcoming) Stereo Station: A particularly small train station with incongruously heavy security, as its main purpose is to transport precious Huanglong Ore to Synthesizer City to be refined into Chrome Digizoid. The security team is composed mainly of Guardromon, lead by Giromon. Adventure Hooks:
-Defend the mine! Or help overtake it. It’s up to you. -After numerous attempted train heists, the PCs are offered a job to provide additional security for a shipment of Huanglong Ore. Synthesizer City: Codec’s manufacturing center, primarily populated by Metal Empire digimon. The brilliant inventor Monzaemon lives here, spending most of her time absorbed in her work. Notable NPCs:
Monzaemon: A brilliant, reclusive inventor and the king’s closest friend. Their relationship is rumored to go back decades, to when they were In-Training digimon. Monzaemon assisted Etemon in the development of the Dark Network and Codec’s railway system. She lacks the King’s interest in music and fighting, preferring to bury herself in her work. GM Info:{Spoiler}{GM Info}- The Monzaemon plushie King Etemon wears at his waist is a memento from his friend, and is doubtlessly more than a simple teddy bear.
- Monzaemon’s current project is researching a way to further refine Chrome Digizoid into an even stronger metal.
- The railway project was Etemon’s idea, but primarily designed by Monzaemon.
- Monzaemon will be most interested in the humans’ digivices, and given the opportunity to study one, may be able to develop upgrades for them.
- Long ago, Monzaemon was a ToyAgumon.
Locations: Chrome Digizoid Refinery: Near the railway station, heavily guarded. Monzaemon’s Laboratory: (Upcoming) Synthesizer Station: (Upcoming)

Triceramon's Meat Farm
It sounds dirtier than it actually is, promise.
In the middle of a vast digital plain lies a massive, commercial-grade farm which seems to be ran entirely by large, Data-class Digimon, particularly Dinosaur Digimon that farms meat plants. Cooperating for mutually assured protection and a regular food source, the Digimon there tend to massive meat plants, which they in turn ship out across the Digital World via massive wagons driven by at least one pair of Monochromon. However, due to its location near the edge of the Digital Wastes, the farms are often raided by traveling gangs of rogue Digimon desperate for a meal, eager to make a name for themselves, or honestly just wanting to pick a fight.
Notable NPC's
Triceramon: easily the oldest and most powerful Digimon on the farms, it's easy to see how Triceramon became the community appointed leader. Being able to carry the most weight, he often puts himself to work on the fields which need it most at the time, there's even an old rumor that Triceramon could probably handle the entire farm himself if he put his mind to it, but that wouldn't leave any work for the rest of them would it? Triceramon sports a rough, no-nonsense type of personality, but he's got a soft spot for people who are down on their luck or in need of shelter, he's been known to pluck a fresh meat plant out of the ground and roast it with his Volcanic Strike Attack on the spot to offer as a quick meal.
Brachiomon and Pteramon: Triceramon's right-hand men, the small collection Brachiomon and Pteramon on the farms not only help to move the large farm equipment when needed, but use their high vantage point as a lookout for any potential raiders in advance. The Pteramon also use their naturally agile bodies to help transport smaller objects across the farm in record time.
Monochromon: while no one Monochromon is the star of the show, the large number of them on the farms mean that they're always available to do something, and you never see a single one at work on their own, the Monochromon of the Meat Farm have learned that pairing up gets the job done best, and they often develop a preferred work partner as such. Sometimes for a bigger job, multiple pairs will team up to ease the workload, but the Monochromon of the farms are often busy with either digging up meat plants by dragging massive farm equipment across the fields, or by transporting it across the hazardous Digital Wastes.
Flarizamon and Icemon: while other Digimon are off working on the fields, Flarizamon and Icemon have a very special job as the head chefs of the Meat Farm. While Triceramon is more a fan of just roasting his meat and eating it how it goes, some Digimon are a lot pickier. Flarizamon has a natural know-how of what kind of temperature to cook the meats at, while Icemon's job is generally a mix of seasoning the meat and then preserving it with his Ice Block Attack. While usually fairly laid-back, sometimes the stress of work can get to the duo, causing an argument. Furthermore, one should never enter the kitchen while they're on duty, doubly so if you haven't washed your hands!
Toucanmon: Someone's got to be in charge of the accounts at the farm, and that Digimon is Toucanmon. Toucanmon has a generally upbeat personality, eager to please and eager to crunch some numbers, until either Triceramon asks for help on the field, or there's a raid currently happening. Then Toucanmon can usually be found inside of his office with the door locked, cowering under his desk.
GM Information
Will probably edit this in later.
Adventure Hooks
- Some Rogue Digimon are attacking the farm! Triceramon really could use some help driving them off. - A Monochromon has dug up a mysterious artifact while going through the fields. - A shipment of meat plants hasn't reported back in yet. Triceramon can't leave the farms, however, and asks the players to help track down the missing shipment.
