Hello, everyone, I'm Kota1908. I know most of you don't know me, but suffice it to say I'm a huge fan of Digimon, and have been for many years. When I first found DDA, a long time ago, I didn't know about the updated version that this forum uses, or about this forum, for that matter, so I avoided it because I disliked many of its mechanics, feeling clunky and uninviting. This version of DDA, however, has gotten me revved up, and so, in preparation for (hopefully) many games of DDA, I have designed an Android character sheet for DDA. Now, before I get into the nitty gritty, some disclaimers:
I did not make this app. I only made the sheets. The app, RPG Characters, can be found for free on the Google Play Store. There is, to my knowledge, no iOS version. Sorry, Apple users. Of course, there's also the usual blabbing about how I don't own DDA, or Digimon, and yadda yadda, I'm not going to go into the schpeal. Suffice it to say that the sheets are editable, and come as-is. If you have a problem with them, don't use them, and I take no responsibility for how they are used, or what might be in an edited version of the sheets. If it didn't come from the links I provide in this post, it's not my responsibility or my fault. Warning: the sheets are commented so that each line's purpose can be made clear. Any question which can be answered by a comment I've included in this post or in the sheets themselves will be ignored or redirected to the appropriate location. Additional warning: Some of the comments contain suggestive humor. I am not apologizing for this, and thus rate these sheets at PG 13. If you have a problem with my particular brand of humor, go into the template, edit it out, and post your own version, I am not going to change it to suit you.
Alright, all that aside, here are the sheets themselves. They are split into two distinct sheets, Tamer and Digimon. Each digivolution stage will require a separate Digimon sheet, I am not going to put in the effort to try and make a sheet that digivolves your digimon for you. Sorry. I did provide auto-calculations where I could, but for proper auto-calculations, you must fill out all fields. If you do not fill out all of the fields, and you come to me telling me the auto-calculations don't work correctly, I will ask you if you filled out all fields, then promptly point out that if you don't fill out all the fields, I can't help you.
So far, I haven't actually tested these sheets in an actual game. I have, however, checked to make sure the calculations work, and that the sheets themselves work. They have a place to upload a picture of the character/digimon, if you're interested, and they have plenty of room for notes for information that you have that I didn't put in, if any. The inventory page is designed to use the Notes section to actually list your inventory, for whatever that's worth. Finally, if you have any questions, comments, recommendations, or requests to update the sheet or improve its functionality, I'd be happy to hear them. At the time of writing this post, only myself and TM93 have actually had access to these sheets, and he suggested that I post them on the forum, once I had them commented. So that's what I'm doing. I hope you all enjoy.
