here's a way tamers can get more digimon in your campain setting im using this for my up coming game
tamers are able to get more digimon be scanning digimon data. if the tamer gets 100% scan data of a digimon the can make a digiegg that will hatch into a baby digimon
Rules
the digimon that you scan data has to be 100% form the same a family group. these groups on in the book on pg 55 if you want to now them all.
ex. your battling a baby digimon form the dark area family, you would get some scan data form it in order to a digimon also keep in mined the the scan data may very based on the stage of the digimon you are scanning.
scanning a digimon data is a complex action and ends you and your digimon turn.
( very slow loading digitize lol)
also a tamer is only about to get scan data during battle
other uses for scan data
you may also turn scan data into dp for every 10% scan data you have of a famliy to can turn it into 1 dp
ex
30% scan data= 3 dp
you can use the dp on any digimon you please.
you may turn can data into money for every 5% scan data you have you can make 100DD
ex.
15% scan data = 300DD

determining scan data for the gm's that want to use this system here's a rolling system intraining 1 = 1d4-2 = scan data count (do not go below one) intraining 2 = 1d4 rookie = 1d6 champion = 1d10 ultimate= 1d10 + 5 mega = 1d10 = + 10 in the case of a boss a tamer may gain more scan data form it the gm may pick out the mod to what he feels like it should be.

I would suggest using D6's for the gain. Not because other dice don't exist, but because DDA exclusively uses D6's, so it'd be kind of weird needing a separate dice system for this one house rule.
Edit: Alternate Dice Idea to fit with DDA more
Fresh = 1D6-4 (minimum 1) In-Training = 1D6-2 (minimum 1) Rookie = 1D6 Champion = 1D6+4 Ultimate= 1D6+8 Mega = 2D6+8
This should give the same general outputs if not a bit higher in some cases, while still fitting with DDA's D6 system.
